Terms of Service

VidToScript converts audio and video content — provided via URL or file upload — into text transcripts and AI-generated summaries. The Service is provided for personal and professional use.

You sign in via Google OAuth. You are responsible for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information and keep your login secure. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these Terms.

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Submit content you do not have the right to process.
• Circumvent copyright protections or platform terms of service.
• Generate, store, or distribute illegal, harmful, or abusive content.
• Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of our systems.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer or scrape the Service at scale.

Payments are processed by Creem as merchant of record. By purchasing a subscription or credit pack you agree to Creem's Buyer Terms.

• Subscriptions — billed monthly from your purchase date. Cancel any time; access continues until the end of the billing period. Unused credits do not carry over.
• Credit packs — one-time purchase, valid for 1 year from purchase date. Non-refundable once credits are used.
• Refunds — unused credits on a subscription may be refunded within 7 days of purchase if no tasks have been processed. Contact support@vidtoscript.com.

Each plan includes per-session time limits and a credit allowance as described on the Pricing page. We may adjust limits with reasonable notice.

You retain all rights to the content you submit. By submitting content you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process it solely to deliver the Service. We do not use your content to train AI models or share it with third parties beyond the sub-processors listed in our Privacy Policy.

The Service, its design, and underlying technology are owned by us. You receive a limited, non-transferable license to use the Service during your subscription. You may not copy, modify, or distribute the Service.

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee the accuracy of transcripts or summaries. AI output may contain errors.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising from use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim.

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases.

We may update these Terms. We will notify you of material changes via email or a notice on the site. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where mandatory consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction apply.
